Driver CPC...

the European Directive 2003/59/EC requires all personnel who are, or will be, employed to drive goods vehicles in categories C1, C1 + E, C or C + E to complete initial or periodic training. New drivers are usually completing this training as part of their initial vocational licence training package.

But what about those who have held their licence longer; those who require their 35 hours of periodic training before September 2014? How is the agency driver going to complete this training? What about the driver who only wishes to work irregular, ad-hoc days just to keep his hand in?

we appreciate the difficulties that agency drivers can face regarding this training and so we have invested time, money & resources to become a JAUPT Approved Training Centre. Our aim is to provide a viable, cost effective solution, one that will enable agency drivers to remain compliant & able to continue working well beyond September 2014.

Our training team are all fully qualified to deliver this approved training package & have a wealth of industry experience, teaching & training backgrounds & most importantly, an understanding of your situation as an agency driver.

we appreciate the loyalty our drivers show & we know it is a two-way thing. To that end, we have looked hard to at ways to reward that loyalty whilst at the same time providing the required training for those drivers. It is our intention to offer our own drivers training on a cost-only basis.
